The rarely right & never politically correct Senator from AZ dissed the "good ol' boys" of America when he told them that he didn't agree with the loans to Chrysler & GM. He told a NASCAR crowd that they ought to have gone into bankruptcy without help from the Gov't.

Sorry John, being a decorated war hero does not forgive you for being so ignorant. That would have been a death sentance for the US auto industry, because the banks were on the verge of folding too, so there was no way to the auto companies to get needed financing to stay alive. That's why they went to Capital Hill.

The auto industry directly or indirectly employs hundreds of thousands of voters that may not forgive you next election.

Aint they all though - makes ya wonder how many
Chinese Hummers the Secret Service will buy to
protect them turkeys.And by the way - how many
rank and file now make 60 grand a year - the cost
of a one way trip home for Pelosi after 3 days in
Washington.
She was elected by about as many as worked in a
good assembly plant running in the 1980s. So - just
how many workers chipped in for these joy rides ?
