SEMA Convention 09

Postby Larry on Thu Oct 22, 2009 11:16 pm

The 2009 Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association convention starts in about a week. It's held every year in Las Vegas & hosts some of the coolest exhibits, parts, & people from around our hobby. As members, it's a must see event for us guys.

This year Hurst has teamed up with Chevy & SEMA to auction off a new Camaro for the SEMA scholarship fund. It's a killer ride!

Dropped by a local prototype shop in Auburn Hills, MI & got an eyeful of some of the new Lingenfelter cars that are to be sent to SEMA. WOW!

Hotchkiss suspension, Magnanussen super chargers, perfect paint, beautiful tire/wheel combos. Every car was better than the next.

Then I peeked into the last room & there sitting mostly undressed, was their new Trans Am concept. HOLY SHIT! This car has a beast of an engine, a drop dead lovely interior, & lines that look better than ANY of the other T/A concepts out there. This girl will be the "belle of the ball" in a week! Great job Dave & Henry!!!

OMG! A 455 cubic inch LS mill! You should've heard this fully-pissed-off motor! It got the attention of EVERY tech in the building, it sure had a sweet sound.

Sorry, no other pics yet, but I will post them as soon as I can.
